CPEX Executive Management Team
Gregory Roberts was promoted to CPEX’s Chief Operating Officer in June 2011 after being hired as Managing Director in 2010. In this role, he oversees the firm’s day-to-day operations and interfaces with Managing Partners Brian Leary and Timothy King. His position ensures the smooth operation of all divisions and allows each business line to work in sync. At CPEX, the Chief Operating Officer role encompasses company systems, accounting, human resources, and business development.
Mr. Roberts has experience working in both finance and hospitality. He opened the Ritz Carlton Battery Park Hotel, the St. Regis Los Angeles Hotel, the Cipriani Toy Building, and the Rubin Museum of Art. Mr. Roberts was an instrumental member of each property’s pre-opening planning team. In addition, he served as Vice President of Business Development for Furnished Quarters, New York’s largest corporate housing company. He spent three years working for Eagle futures on the NYMEX.
After graduating from Xavier High School in Manhattan, Mr. Roberts earned an AAS in Culinary Arts and a BS in Hotel Management from Johnson & Wales University. He currently resides in Suffolk County, Long Island.
