Gregory Roberts joined CPEX in 2010 as Managing Director. In June 2011, Roberts was promoted to Chief Operating Officer. In this role, he oversees the firm’s day-to-day operations and interfaces with Managing Partners Brian Leary and Timothy King. His position ensures the smooth operation of all divisions and allows lives to work in sync. At CPEX, the Chief Operating Officer role encompasses company systems, accounting, human resources and business development.
Roberts has experience working in both finance and hospitality. He has opened the Ritz Carlton Battery Park Hotel, the St. Regis Los Angeles Hotel, Cipriani Toy Building, and the Rubin Museum of Art. Roberts was an instrumental member of each property’s preopening planning team. In addition, he served as Vice President of Business Development for Furnished Quarters, New York’s largest corporate housing company. He spent three years as a clerk for Eagle futures on the NYMEX.
Roberts graduated from Johnson & Wales University, where he earned an AAS in Culinary Arts and a BS in Hotel Management. He resides in Suffolk County Long Island.
