Thomas O’Neill has joined CPEX Real Estate as a Senior Managing Director heading up the firms’ Advisory Services Division. Thomas’ career at AMF Incorporated, Bear Stearns and JP Morgan Chase makes him uniquely qualified to oversee this critical component of the firm’s business lines.

In his role as Global Head of Real Estate at Bear Stearns, Thomas was responsible for strategy, development, construction, corporate services, global security, investigations, disaster recovery and business continuity. The Real Estate Department that Thomas oversaw managed a worldwide portfolio consisting of 4 million square feet of office space in 14 countries, 52 cities and 76 locations.

At Bear Stearns, Thomas developed strategic planning and programming initiative with business unit heads worldwide to establish standards for high performance and consistency throughout areas of responsibility. Thomas oversaw all major developments, interior construction and capital & annual operating budgets of $850 million while managing all activities on lease transactions and dispositions. In his efforts to implement a cohesive environment at Bear Stearns, Thomas created a sub-division of the corporate legal department to focus on issues related to real estate transactions and construction.

Thomas attended CCNY and Iona College, majoring in Construction Technology and Business Administration. Thomas currently resides in White Plains, New York with his wife and three children.
